Dr Saleem is a technology researcher and an educator. He has been performing his duties as a Senior IT Executive & Educational Consultant, Recruiter and CS Lecturer in Qatar since long. He is an accomplished and results-driven IT manager with a PhD in computer science in one hand and over 27 years of experience in different domains of information technology and in education with managing and leading technical teams on other hand. Extensive range of expertise including datacentre development and operations, building university campus infrastructure, private cloud and application development, network operations including cyber security and implementing ISMS policies and procedures, IT recruitment, marketing business operations and strategic planning. Highly effective in successful team building, bridging relationships between departments including senior level leadership and operational excellence. He has published many research papers in the domain of information technology, computer science, Smart Cities, Cyber Security, Big Data, IoT etc. He is the first one from the state of the Qatar to get the Certified TIA-942 Data Center Design Consultant certification. Dr Saleem is a resourceful, solution-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem solving skills, and drive to achieve organisational objectives.
